adventi készülődés • advent preparations

Idén saját gyártású adventi kalendáriumunk lett. Ez most a karácsony előtti rohanásban nem volt cél. Ezek szerint eddig mázlim volt: a készen kaphatók levették a terhet a vállamról. Mostanra elég jól megszoktam ezt az állapotot, sőt! …mitagadás, engem sem kell kétszer hívni, ha shoppingolásról van szó. Nos, elég elszánt voltam tehát, amikor beviharzottam néhány boltba, de csak bénán topogtam a lehetséges naptár változatok közt. Azt hiszem az már nagyon kínos, ha ekkora eltökéltség ellenére is befékez egy vásárolni vágyó nő. (Az IKEA idei karácsonyi kínálatával is ugyanez volt a helyzet, de ez egy másik történet.) Viszonylag sokáig tartott, mire rájöttem, hogy nem kell nekem feltétlenül ezek közül választanom, hiszen a naptár tartalma egy maréknyi szemét lesz csak, miután a kibontás varázsa elillant. Megfogalmazódott a fejemben a gondolat, (ami vásárláskor ritkán szokott előfordulni velem): nekem ezekre nincs szükségem!!!!. Pffffff. Pár pillanatnyi kutakodás után a Pinteresten jobbnál jobb ötleteket találtam, amiket megtoldottam néhány sajáttal, így a nap végére vállon veregethettem magam. Ne gondoljatok nagy dolgokra, legtöbbször élményt és együtt töltött időt rejtettem el a kis zacskókban. Néha csak egy ötlet van benne, hogy melyik mozit nézzük meg és egy zacskó popcorn. Helyenként egy kis üveg fürdőolaj, mert Bojka imád pancsolni. Persze vannak csajos dolgok is, kis charmok amiket a hobbi boltban 90-400Ft-ig lehet vásárolni és karácsonyra össze is jöhet belőle egy kis karkötő. (Bojkának el ne áruljátok!!!!) Összességében tartottam a költségvetést, semmivel sem kellett többet ráfordítani mint mondjuk egy Lego vagy Barbie kalendáriumra, de biztos vagyok benne, hogy a mi naptárunkból egyik ajándék sem végzi a kukában. 

This year we have a self-made advent calendar. This wasn’t our goal now amidst the rush before Christmas. So this means I was lucky so far: the ready-made calendars lifted the weight off my shoulders. By now I’ve gotten pretty used to this state, to say the least! …you don’t have to call me twice if it’s for shopping. Well, so I was pretty determined when I stormed into a few stores, but I just stood there undecidedly in front of the possible calendar versions. I think it’s rather awkward  if you block down despite such great determination. (The situation was the same with IKEA’s Christmas supply this year, but that’s another story.) It took a pretty long time until I realized I don’t neccessarily have to choose one of these, since the contents of the calendar will only be a fistful of rubbish after the magic of opening it has passed. The thought took form in my head (which happens rarely during shopping): I don’t need these!!!! Pfffff. After a few moments of searching I found one idea better than the other on Pinterest, to which I added a few of my own, so by the end of the day I could pat myself on the back. Don’t think of anything big, I mostly hid experience and time spent together in the little bags. Sometimes there is only an idea in it on what movie we should watch, and a bag of popcorn. Occasionally a small bottle of bath oil, because Bojka loves playing in the water. Of course there are girly things too, small Charms that you can by for 60-400 forints in the arts and crafts store, and by Christmas it can add up to a little bracelet. (Don’t tell Bojka!!!!) All in all I stuck to the budget, I didn’t have to spend any more on it than I would have for a Lego or Barbie calendar, but I’m sure that none of the presents from our calendar will end up in the trash.
