(Nekünk nincs is. :-)

It was interesting to watch the anger rise apropos a simple application. I already knew seeing the quantity of fb shares that there will be a problem… but I never would have thought so many people will get hurt because of a game being born. Though I think in cases like these it’s just pretext for a burst of anger, the problem is somewhere else, somewhere deeper. But if everyone were to admit this, then there would be no conflicts, and world peace would break out. Obviously it would be boring, but I’d try it. Knowing our past, you can know that there will be no hidden traps in the game to chain the kids there, there will be no in app purchase to rip off the unsuspecting parents. For most of us, the iPad is a work tool, and soon it will be a learning tool for our children. The problem is not with the existence of these gadgets, but their use. In this case at least you can easily distinguish between “out-of-the-question” and “all-right-this-is-ok” categories, unlike TV for example, where stupidity flows without control. (We don’t even have one. :-P) There are very few good and  fair games which is exactly why we thought we’d create something that goes beyond the experience of “if I press the button I jump, another button and you die”. I think we did well. It would be difficult to whip out The Frog Prince in the dentist’s waiting room or on the highway. To the end of my academic inaugural, I would just like to add that believe it or not, the HUH app is really a handmade game! :-)
